Amazing Waterfalls in The Poconos!

The Poconos in Pennsylvania offers activities to do throughout the year. It is also one of the best places in Pennsylvania to see vibrant fall foliage!

I went to the Pocono Mountains two different weekends in October. The days that I went, were a bit overcast and cloudy. However, the sun did make an appearance for some of the time. For this post, I will be sharing some pictures of Bushkill Falls. If you are in Pennsylvania or have the opportunity to visit the Poconos, add Bushkill Falls to your list of places to visit.

Bushkill Falls is a series of 8 waterfalls located in Lehman Township, Pennsylvania. It is a popular destination for hiking and tourists. The area features trails and bridges that vary in length and difficulty. Be prepared for a lot of walking, steps, and a variety of terrain. Definitely make sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking/hiking, water, and anything else you may need. The closest walk to the first waterfall is about five minutes and to see the furthest one, is about a 2 hour hike. Also, there is a charge to enter the falls. Make sure you check out the website for price details and other information.

I did see a few dogs while I was there, but I know there was no way Molly would be able to do the stairs and all of the walking. So, please be mindful when planning your trip and possibly bringing your dog. I did see a couple people carrying their dogs up the steep steps.

Even though there is a lot of walking, the views are so worth while!!
